I have been wanting to make more clothes for my husband for awhile. It’s even one of my goals for the year. Well, Andrea from The Train To Crazy’s Sewing For Men Miniseries was exactly the kick in the pants I needed. Luckily, t-shirts come together quickly so I was able to whip this shirt out.

I decided to do color blocking but in a very subtle way. I had a solid brown jersey and a heather brown jersey that looked good together. I’m really, really with how it turned out! I think my husband is too.

I traced one of my husband’s shirts for fit and then blocked the top for the other fabric. I also added a pocket for looks. I had brown rib knit that I used for the neckline.

  6. Ok this is awesome. Totally something I could see my hubby wearing, although he would probably just say "why didn't you just make it all one color." Men, they just don't get it.
